I am looking for an unfurnished room to rent in a shared apartment with other young professionals interested in a 2,3,4 or 5 bed apartment with 1 or 2 bathrooms.

I work in a high school so I enjoy a quiet, clean, smoke-free apartment to come home to. This job has me out of the apartment for the majority of the day during the week and on the weekends I am rarely home as well. I am quick to get along well with people and have always been friendly with the many different roommates I have lived with. Ideally, I would ideally like to live with people who enjoy chit chat and sometimes hang out in common areas, but are respectful of personal space and introvert time.

I am lgbtq friendly and an animal lover if there happen to be any pets in the apartment.

I am a 28 year old woman (she/her pronouns)and I teach hydroponic farming in a high school in the Bronx (hello free vegetables!!). I speak English and Spanish and have lived in several different states and countries so I believe that I am quite easy going. I enjoy making things - anything from baking bread to mending clothes to knitting hats. I generally cook and do some light meal prepping each week. In my free time I read a lot, do yoga, and sometimes watch low quality tv shows in my free time.

I do value having a clean and organized space and work hard to try to keep things that way but also realize we are all humans and sometimes thing are not perfect.

My current short term sublet in Queens is coming to an end and I am looking to move closer to my job to shorten the commute.
