Following years of being my family's breadwinner, I'm going to be on my own soon, sharing custody of a sweet, mature, and talented 8-year-old daughter/rising fourth grader at NYC's public school for dance in Manhattan.

To help make this transition easier, I'm looking for a 2bd anywhere off the L Line, somewhere in the $3.5k range. I could also do the J line if the rental is in Manhattan.

I have paid for a $5.7k rental in Bed-Stuy for four years now and my landlord can give me a fantastic reference. I have great earnings & credit and in addition to working as an IP finance & policy specialist, I just completed a two-year stint as an elected community advocate for my neighborhood's public school district. Prior to turning my interest towards the law, I was a professional ballerina and ballet teacher!

My daughter and I are quiet, respectful, kind, and tidy. We are good neighbors and community members. No pets, no parties, no smoking! I'm looking for a spot for us to land and hopefully thrive during this time of major transition.
