Hi there!
The 3 of us are looking for a place sept 20th - oct 6th, preferably in Greenpoint, Williamsburg or Fort Greene but open to any suggestions and ideas. We’ll be traveling from Switzerland to celebrate my mum’s 75th birthday, introducing my 8y old son to NYC and visiting friends I haven’t seen in many years.
I love airy minimal clean spaces but also very happy to plunge into any home that’s got heart and soul. We’ll treat it with lots of care and respect and do our best to keep it in your spirit! Pets and plants are most welcome to be looked after.
We’re all very easygoing, clean and tidy, caring and respectful.
A kitchen is definitely needed and sleeping possibilities for 3 people - sharing beds is ok too.

My name is Jenny, 45y. I’m a single mum, currently living and working in Bern, Switzerland. I work with young adults that got off track for all sorts of reasons but core clients are those with addictions. It’s a small restaurant within a Bern based institution called “CONTACT” where we try to provide a safe space to them so they can freely explore, encounter their likes and dislikes, discover their personal talents while also becoming familiar with a working environment.
Everyday is different, interesting and beautiful young people come and go. I love my job!
I also decorate spaces, collect gems in thrift stores, sew using Japanese fabrics, sing and dance, cook and commit to a daily yoga routine. Everyday open to be inspired by life!

My mum’s retired and used to run a Sushi Bar for 10years before her pension. She’s Japanese, did all sorts of courageous moves and travelled a lot too.
She’s visited NYC in the past and it was a big wish for her to go “just one more time” which I wanted to become true. So here we go :)

In case you worry about having a child in your home - he’s very easy and handles things with great care and respect! He’s used to traveling and staying in other peoples places and there’s never ever been any issues. I’m very comfortable in saying so and I feel very lucky in having him the way he is!
