This private, fully-furnished apartment is located on the top floor of our two-family home in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. The light-filled space has a bedroom, a sitting room, a dining room, & a bathroom. (Plus, if needed, we have an optional kids’ room with two twin beds.) The well-stocked kitchen is great if you love to cook. Additionally, there is a beautiful shared backyard with fresh herbs & berries (in season!).

The apartment features:
•A new queen-size bed in the bedroom.
•A kitchen fully stocked with coffee, tea, and spices.
•A dishwasher.
•A washer and drier (shared in basement).
•Wi-Fi.
•Please note, there is no television and no bathtub (shower only).

Location:
We live in the quieter, more neighborhood-y section of Williamsburg (though we are only a 10-minute walk to the action on Bedford Avenue). If you appreciate good food, you're in the right place. Our house is across the street from our family's cheese and sandwich shop, Campbell & Co where you'll receive a friends & family discount. On our block there’s also Okonomi, a Japanese breakfast (mornings) and ramen (nights) restaurant and Rose Marie, a fabulous new restaurant and bar with a slight Southern twang.

We're also a five minute walk from McCarren Park, which features an all-weather running track, soccer fields, and an Olympic-size outdoor swimming pool (open in the summer). The park hosts a Farmers Market on Saturdays.

We're a 10-minute walk from Bedford Avenue, the heart of Williamsburg, and there's a Citi Bike station one block away.

We're two short blocks from the Lorimer Street station of the L train and G train subway lines.

Originally from a little Southern town in Florida, I moved to Brooklyn, NY, 25 years ago. I film documentary television, news, and films. I also own a little cheese shop on the same block as my home. I live here with my husband, our 10-year-old daughter, and our 8-year-old son. We are living in our basement apartment for the summer and renting out our top floor apartment in the same building.

Our family is fluent in ASL (American Sign Language).
