We’re a small, shared ceramic studio with one space opening up for a new member starting August 1st. The studio includes access to a wheel, slab roller, kiln (shared firings), and communal work areas. We’re a relaxed but focused group of ceramicists who each manage our own workflow and help keep the space clean and functional for everyone. All of us are able to run basic tasks to keep a nice flow of firing in the studio which includes loading, firing and unloading the kiln on a communal level and we are looking for someone with similar experience or an eagerness to learn basic skills to keep things running with ease.
The spot includes:
One full shelf unit
Access to shared equipment: wheel, slab roller, kiln
24/7 studio access
$450/month + utilities (shared among members).
We’re looking for someone who’s respectful of shared space, independent in their practice, and experienced enough to work safely and cleanly around ceramic equipment.
Studio is located in Industrial East Williamsburg.
If interested please reach out to view the space.
The studio is run by me, Alicia—I'm a ceramic artist of a small-batch ceramics brand focused on functional ware and sculptural objects. I've been running this space for a few years and aim to keep it warm, low-drama, and respectful.
Rental Agreement signed and rent payed August 1. In addition to utilities all repairs on communal equipment is split equally among members.
