Studio Access options:
$185 M-W Studio Access: Studio access Monday-Wednesday, 12pm-8pm. Includes storage, unlimited equipment reservations, plus discounts on workshops, events, and demos.
$475 Full Studio Access: 24/7 access to the studio, plus storage. We can offer a discounted monthly studio rate of $250 for members who take a half-day shift once a week, during which you help walk-ins, keep the space tidy, and otherwise do your own thing. Some artist-members offer 1:1 tool demos during their shift, showing guests how to use the studio's equipment. Any payment from tool demos are split 50/50 between the teaching artist and the studio.
We also have daily and weekly rates. You can pause membership at any time, perfect for artists who travel.

About the location: We're March April Studio on Google Maps. We're on the second floor of a strip mall in Koreatown, Los Angeles. The space has both an elevator and stairs. Each member has their own storage space and can also store work in designated zones throughout the studio. We occasionally accommodate artists who'd like a designated work/storage space, depending on the needs of your practice. There are three main options for parking: street parking ($1/hour, 2 hour max... free Sundays), monthly parking (rates start at $75/mo), and valet parking ($3, no set time limit, make sure to retrieve your keys in a timely manner. Self-parking is free on Mondays). We're in the 7th and Vermont plaza, which houses some very good restaurants and cafes including Alchemist Coffee, Lee Ga, Simply Pho You, and Kobawoo.
We love our shared studio. We hope you do, too!
I'm Somi (they/them), a co-founder and worker-owner of March April Studio. I'm a writer and the guy who coordinates the logistics for the studio, including but not limited to: events, workshops, and accounting.
March April has become the creative home of many BIPOC queers and organizers. I see myself as a steward of the space, making sure that it continues to serve the whole community.
You can schedule a free tour to see the space and discuss the needs of your practice here: https://marchaprilart.as.me/schedule/c6044cd0/category/Tour/appointment/78722593/calendar/12175048
All memberships require a waiver and release. The 24/7 studio membership requires two references, who can attest to your ability to respect and maintain shared spaces.
