Hello!
My name is Thomas. I'm journeying out West to sing, dance and hike, and I'm looking to sublet my room during this time. I live with a dear roommate, David. David works in tech and climate, and is interested spirituality, personal growth, and dance. I work as a chaplain, love making music, and also am into the worlds of meditation and music. We are both in our mid-30s.
If you are into art, meditation, and benefitting living beings, then this is a good start :) Not a great space for the partiers. Thank you!
This is a two-bedroom, with two levels in the apartment. It is on the fifth floor, and there is an elevator which is reliable (but slow). I live downstairs, and that is the room that is being offered. There are two closets, one of which will be available for your things.
Neighborhood: Crown Heights! is a great neighborhood. Local shops and bars, the Brooklyn Museum nearby, and my favorite: Brooklyn Botanical Garden. Prospect Park is a 15ish minute walk away. Laundry is around the corner, as is a grocery store which is always too expensive. We live very close to the Franklin Shuttle stop. Take the shuttle to the other side of Prospect Park, have a picnic and walk back. A dream.
I would really appreciate finding someone who cares about tending to their space and keeping things feeling fresh and clean. It's my home, and it will be yours for a short time, so love it up. It's love language is acts of service. I am very spiritually-oriented and the space reflects that. I love tending to altars, flowers, candles, and plants. I would love if you can carry that energy here!
Hi!
My name is Thomas. I am a 33-year old white man. I've been in the neighborhood for five years. I work as a chaplain. I love to play music, be in nature, and move my body. I love a good bath. I venture upstate regularly to nourish my soul. The vibes of the apartment are special, and that's a reflection of my love for the space and the importance of having a nourishing place to come home to.
Half due upon mutual agreement regarding subletting, the other half due upon move in. This includes utilities. FaceTime first is always good, and I'm glad to send more pics or videos of the space.
