Set within a charming 1939 courtyard, this one-bedroom unit has been in my care for the last 12 years, and I'm hanging onto it while I study abroad for a year. The neighbors are friendly, respectful, and responsible. The property manager lives on site to address your concerns. I will also be reachable to help answer any questions.

This top unit has a private entrance and staircase. Out of respect for my wonderful downstairs neighbor, I take my shoes off inside and ask my guests to do the same. We're all mindful of noise and keeping the peace.

The space is bright and spacious, and stays cooler in the summer with North and South facing windows. There is a window AC unit in the dining room and fan in the bedroom; the gas heater can be turned on at your request and remain on throughout the fall and winter months.

The unit will be furnished and has everything you need for a long-term stay: a firm Keetsa mattress (queen); high-quality organic linens and towels; spacious bedroom closet and ample dresser storage; original art deco bathroom with large cast-iron tub and separate shower; toilet bidet attachment; comfortable vintage sofa; high-end designer furniture (I work in the biz); record player; brand new powered speakers and Sonos; dining table set; fully equipped kitchen; Berkey water filter system; wi-fi and a TV in the bedroom.

The monthly cost includes utilities which is based on my yearly average ($160 per month) and is subject to change depending on your usage. In March 2027, there will be a 3% rent increase for all tenants and subletters. I'm happy to discuss this further so we're on the same page.

Rampart Village is located in between Silver Lake and Koreatown. It's a 5 minute drive to Silver Lake Reservoir where I run every day, and an easy mile-ish walk to the best Korean restaurants and bars outside of Seoul. You'll be a stone's throw to Shim Sham bar, Rasarumah, and Frank Coffee on Beverly. Across the street is a super chill laundry mat where you'll do your laundry, as there is no laundry on the property. You're a short walk to Crawford's, a popular dive bar for pool, fried chicken, and $5 Budwiser on tap. Plenty more recommendations on request!

If you have a car, there is street parking--just be mindful of street sweeping on Monday and Tuesday.

I'm looking to rent to one person only with no pets or live-in partners. More than anything, I'm looking for someone who is responsible, mindful of others, and hopefully not going to spill red wine all over the sofa.
