The apartment is located 5 minutes from the Brooklyn museum and Franklin-Medgar Evers subway stops, so you can catch the express or local 2/3/4/5, and it's right above the B48! It is a 10 minute walk to the Grand Army Plaza entrance of Prospect Park and the Central Library, as well as plenty of shops and restaurants in the neighborhood. Laundromat is a 3 minute walk, and the nearest Citibike dock is on the block.
The apartment is a second floor walk-up in a small building with west-facing windows in the living area (street side) and east-facing windows in the bedroom (interior, extra quiet). It is a railroad style apartment that is technically a two-bedroom, but I use it as a one-bedroom, so there is plenty of space! I currently have it set up so that the street-facing bedroom is the living room, and it opens onto the long room which has a dedicated working set-up, dining table, and kitchen. The bedroom fits a queen bed comfortably and has an extra large closet that takes up a full wall. There is plenty of storage. I drew the floorplan myself which is why it looks amateur, but it is accurate!

I am moving in with my partner and my new lease overlaps with this one, so I am hoping to find a subletter who will enjoy the place — I've really loved living here, can't beat the space and location. I will leave it furnished for a subletter, and will move the rest of the furniture out at the end of March (which is why this lease can't go through 3/31; I need some time on the other end).
I've lived in the neighborhood for five years, in this apartment for three years, and love the area!
Interests include cooking, being in Prospect Park, biking, playing piano, chess :)
