We're subleasing our bright and furnished two-bedroom apartment in Crown Heights for the month of July. Rent includes all utilities.

The apartment is on the fourth flour (with elevator) of a quiet and friendly building. It's two blocks from Brower Park and a block from Nostrand Ave. There are lot of restaurants, bars, and cafes nearby.

The space:

Main bedroom with king-size bed

Second room is an office/guest room with large desk + queen bed

Washer, dryer, and dishwasher in unit

Fully stocked kitchen with plenty of pots, pans and spices for cooking.

Projector with Apple TV, HBO, etc.

AC units in every room

We have guest linens and towels if you need them.

Location:

10-15 minute walk from the 2, 3, 5, A, C trains (30 mins to Downtown Manhattan)

3 stops to Prospect Park and the Brooklyn Botanic Garden.

We have a great relationship with our neighbors, so we’re hoping to find someone respectful and easy-going (ideally couples or a small family — sorry, no pets). Bonus if you love plants and wouldn’t mind watering ours while we’re away!

I’m a filmmaker born in Barcelona and living in Brooklyn since 2009. I graduated from a masters degree in film in 2014 and started my own production company, called Tokyo/Vermont, which specializes in short documentaries about arts and culture, and other types of content.

I always find it sad to leave my apartment empty for long periods of time, and this platform is the perfect solution. A nice community of people and not as disruptive to the neighborhood as Airbnb. Excited to host here!
