We're subletting our spacious apartment in central Lisbon. It's a four-bedroom with two balconies that we've furnished as a one bedroom with two offices.

The apartment has huge windows, a large living room, separate dining room, kitchen, and two long balconies. It's furnished with a king bed, large dining table, and a big sofa. There is a fully equipped kitchen, including an espresso machine, Vitamix, soda maker, microwave, a dishwasher, and a washing machine. The living room has a projector and screen. Each of the two offices has an electric sit-stand desk, ergonomic chairs, and fast wi-fi. One of them has a walking pad. The larger office has a bathroom with a shower. (Never fear, there are three bathrooms.)

It's on the second floor with quiet neighbors and an elevator. It gets great light all day. The front balcony has a view of a tree-lined Lisbon street and the back balcony looks over an internal courtyard. There is a Weber grill and a small table for outdoor dining.

It is located in the neighborhood of Saldanha, very central and a few minutes walk to the city’s best fresh fish and vegetable market, metro lines, and great restaurants. It’s 30 minutes from the beach for easy morning surf sessions and around the corner from one of Lisbon’s best bakeries for fresh baguettes and croissants in the morning, or a delicious pastel de nata afternoon snack. (We have a spot in a nearby garage for parking, if you want to rent a car.)

We prefer a single tenant or couple--it's set up very well for one or two people working from home. There is a cleaning person who comes once a week. We would like her to continue to come while we are away. This is our home, so we are looking for someone who will take good care of it.

Available for January, February, and March.

Longer stays preferred. We are also open to housing swaps in New York, Los Angeles, or the Bay Area.
