Come live in a spacious triplex on a quiet residential street in Bushwick. This shared space has the quality of feeling like you live alone. That's due to a unique aspect of the unit: Each tenant essentially has their own individual common spaces, including separate kitchens and bathrooms. The basement is where your future roommate (a kind, funny, and responsive freelance videographer) has his space, which he uses as his home office (he has his own kitchen and half-bath in that space). The ground floor would be your space, complete with its own kitchen and half-bath. In addition, you have direct access to the spacious backyard. On the first floor, the bedrooms are located down the hall from each other. Each person has their own full bathrooms (the roommate's bath is en suite). In addition, there is another room (the size of an actual bedroom not a tiny closet) next to your bedroom that you can use as you see fit (as an office, for storage, etc.) Finally, there is a washer and dryer in-unit!
Above us is a separate apartment on the top floor. Both roommates have separate entrances to access the street and the backyard and the upstairs neighbors have a separate entrance to access their unit (they do not have access to the backyard).
Couples are welcome. The ground floor is partially furnished with some of my roommate’s furnishings and he’s willing to discuss removing some items for the new tenant(s). The available room will be unfurnished. Unfortunately, the landlord does not allow pets.
Nearest subway lines are either the Halsey or Wilson L stops (about the same walking distance to both) or the Halsey J.
Due to the layout of the unit, there is a ton of privacy and a lot of space to spread out so it feels at times like you live alone!
I enjoyed living in this space but I am moving into my own place closer to my work.
Your future roommate, Peter, is a freelance videographer. He works from home in his home office in the basement level of the unit. He’s a kind, tidy, and respectful person who is always responsive and a good communicator!

Landlord requires proof of income/employment as well as 40x income.
This would be a lease assignment/takeover, so you’d fill out a standard rental application with the landlord.
Security deposit is one month’s rent.
Utilities (Con Ed and National Grid) and Internet (Verizon Fios) are evenly shared between roommates.
Please feel free to reach out with any questions!
