Located in StuyTown, it’s quiet and green. The neighbors are all elderly. StuyTown has some of the largest open spaces I've encountered in the city. Plus, a cafe, two gyms, a farmer’s market (seasonal) and weekly movie nights (seasonal.)

The location is great. It’s a half-block to the L-Train at 1st Ave. Target, Trader Joe’s, and Whole Foods are within a block. Alphabet City is home to tons of great bars and restaurants. I’d consider it walking distance from Soho, Greenwich Village, West Village, and the Lower East Side, but even midtown isn’t so bad.

I’m subletting because family issues require that I be home. Otherwise, I’d never leave! Hoping to find someone who can take care of the place in my absence. Renting from January 1st, ideally.

I'm a creative director and writer in the advertising and entertainment industries. I'd say I have medium-high cleanliness, but the place will be professionally cleaned before you arrive. I've been the tenant here for 5 years and I'd like to come back to it in good shape. I will be away handling some family health issues in another state, but will be coming back often for work and to see friends.
