Hi! We are looking to sublet our 2,800 square foot house in Portland's NE Alameda/Grant Park neighborhood. There are two bedrooms, two offices (which could be turned into two bedrooms), three full bathrooms, and a movie room. It is on a corner lot surrounded by beautiful leafy linden trees, with south facing windows spanning the length of the house - gets lots of light even in the winter!

We prefer to rent it fully furnished, as seen in the photos -- however, we would be open to moving some furniture pieces around the house or into storage, if needed. Can sublet for at a few months at first but we are flexible and open to a longer term rental as well.

1st floor: kitchen, living room, dining room, office #1, guest bedroom, and full bathroom #1.
2nd floor: main bedroom, office #2 (with a TV), large bathroom with two sinks, heated floors, and spa shower.
Basement (fully finished): movie room (with short throw laser projector), laundry room, and full bathroom #3.

We care a lot about sleep! The upstairs bedroom has a king WinkBed mattress with down bedding and pillows and the guest bedroom has a queen Casper mattress. There are automatic blackout shades upstairs in the bedroom and hallway.

The kitchen has tons of counter space and is well stocked. Including an E8 Jura coffee machine, Fellow kettle, Vitamix blender, KitchenAid mixer, Zojirushi rice cooker, cast iron pans, Le Creuset dutch oven, Seto kitchen knives, etc.

The house has been updated and well-maintained over the years, but retains its original oak hardwood floors and some 1920s architectural charm!

The neighborhood is very peaceful and cozy. Most of our neighbors have lived here for a long time and are very friendly - often helping us grab packages and water plants. We are walking distance to Grant Park, where there are tennis courts and a track, Whole Foods, New Seasons, an indie movie theater (Hollywood Theater), and restaurants.

-Ring doorbell and camera for security
-Apple TVs
-AudioPro Wifi Sound System in the living room and kitchen
-Backyard has a table and chairs for six, a gas grill, and a Kamado Joe smoker grill
-There is a driveway in the back, but we have always just parked our two cars on the street in front or side of our house - have never had an issue
-You have the option to keep our cleaners who come every two weeks

We (Ben & Rena) are a couple in our mid-30s who moved to Portland 3 years from NYC where we lived for several years. Ben works in renewable energy and real estate and Rena works in philanthropy. Since moving to Portland - Ben has picked up kite surfing and Rena has started playing the cello.
We have owned the house since 2021 when we relocated to Portland from NYC. We love this space and have lovingly curated it to be our sanctuary.
Now we are planning to move to Paris but will miss our Portland home.
