Prewar elevator building in Sunnyside Gardens. 6 minute walk to the 46/Bliss stop on the 7 train. 20 minutes to midtown Manhattan. 3rd floor apt. Railroad style bookended by two large rooms with a kitchen, full bath, and linen closet via the central hallway connecting the two. Every room has street facing windows.
The neighborhood is gorgeous: tree lined streets, many bars and restaurants, 24 hr grocery across the street, convenience stores, cafes, bodegas, post office… anything you need all with in 10 minutes walk.
Super on site. No laundry in the building but approx 5 laundromats within 5 minutes and one just across the street.
Sunnyside, Queens is more of a chill, green, quiet, families vibe with outdoor bars and cafes rather than a hip, youth heavy, destination spot.
Rental price includes utilities.
My husband and I are actors, have lived in this apartment together since 2014. We are working in the UK through the summer and don't want our beautiful spot in one of the few calm places in NYC sit empty and unloved! Christopher loves cooking, cleaning, crafting and I love eating his cooking and soaking in our deep bathtub at the end of a long day. We are obsessed with Sunnyside and feel confident you'll dig it too. We will be contactable while we are out of town but the super, Israel, who is on site daily, will help with anything should you need it.
I month deposit unless it's a dealbreaker, we can discuss further. I am available May 11-18 evenings to show the apartment.
