Hi-- I'm looking for someone to take over my rent-stabilized lease/apartment in Crown Heights (right off of Franklin Av) for the upcoming lease cycle (with option to renew) as I am moving out of the city after October.
I have a lot of furniture/items I'm not taking with me, so I'm planning to sell nearly everything I have for super cheap (everything for $1K, but flexible on price since I really just need to easily offload all of it!) I added a list of most items below. Basically everything you see in the photos will be left behind (except for books, pictures, bike)
These are the utilities I currently pay for: wifi (Optimum), electricity (Con Edison), heat/gas (National Grid). Total comes out to ~$80-150 each month depending on the season.
Apartment is on a 3rd floor walk up. There's a lot of sunlight in all rooms. There's also a spacious closet and a lot of cabinet space in the kitchen.
1min walk to Franklin Ave full of restaurants, bars, laundry, cafes, bodegas, gym, yoga, etc.
2min walk to Franklin Av 2/3/4/5 subway stop.
10min walk to Prospect Park north entrance next to Grand Army Plaza.
5min walk to Brooklyn Museum.
List of furniture/items being sold:
West Elm couch
coffee table
bed + mattress + sheets + comforter + pillows
dresser
clothes hanger
A/C
desk
computer monitor
desk chair
lounge chair
~50" TV + stand
Xbox One
Audio-Technica record player
Calphalon copper pots/pans, cast iron skillet
Crate & Barrel plates/bowls, silverware, glasses
bike rack, shoe rack, coat rack
kitchen stools
book shelves
vacuum, swiffer
microwave, microwave oven, pizza oven
lamps
plants
rugs
Thanks!!
I've lived in this apartment for 3 years and love it + my neighborhood. I work in Lower East Side and the commute via subway is super quick. I often ride my bike in Prospect Park in the mornings/weekends and workout at a cross-training gym just a few minutes away on Dean st.
I have a data analytics company in the tech space and enjoy a digital nomad lifestyle a few times per year.
Since this is a new lease I'll connect you to the landlord and you'll pay them directly each month. There is no brokers fee. There is a security deposit the same amount as one month's rent. You'll also need to submit proof of income and a rental application
Cats/dogs allowed
