My partner and I are moving to Maine and are so sad to leave this apartment. We’ve absolutely loved living here. It’s spacious, peaceful, and incredibly functional, with thoughtful built-in storage and beautiful custom wood cabinetry throughout. The apartment has exposed brick, hardwood floors, marble countertops, newer appliances, and an unbelievable amount of cabinet space.
We’ve used the middle room as our bedroom, hosted guests comfortably, and the railroad layout allows it to function as either a spacious 1BR or a flexible 2-room setup. The apartment is directly across from Rosemary’s Playground, and it’s been lovely working from home in the front room while looking out at all the life in the park. During the winter, it turned into a snow sculpture park filled with various snowmen, igloos, and other creations. :)
The apartment is steps from the Forest Ave M (I commute to Manhattan and leave my apartment about 2 minutes before the train arrives), and about a 10-minute walk to the Myrtle/Wyckoff L. I was initially worried about train noise, but it’s been a total non-issue.
Some favorite things about living here:
• Directly across from a park, near the library, with a lovely bucolic feel. Peaceful and embedded in the neighborhood
• Tons of kitchen storage + closets + built-in drawers/cabinetry
• New appliances in great condition - everything works like it should
• Spacious railroad-style layout with room to breathe
• Responsive management
• Wonderful Ridgewood location near Vitellio’s, Topos, Variety, Nomad, Bakeri, Rolo’s, Other People’s Clothes, ceramics studios, vintage stores, and more :)
This has been a wonderful home for us! Photos are from before we moved in. Here's a more recent video:
