Hello! We’re looking for a new roommate (preferably a woman) to join our rent-stabilized 3-bedroom, 1-bathroom apartment in Washington Heights. The room, which is the largest in the apartment, will be available starting November 1st, 2024, with the potential for an earlier early/mid October move in date. We need someone ready to sign the lease by mid to late September.
The apartment features an in-unit washer and dryer, a dishwasher, and a bathtub. The building also includes an elevator and an additional laundry room for convenience. The rent for the room is $1,227.60, with electricity and Wi-Fi costing an additional $50-60 per month. We’re ideally looking for someone who is willing to purchase the existing furniture, which includes a bed, adjustable desk, chair, AC, and dresser.
The apartment is ideally located with a 5-minute walk to the A, C, and 1 trains at 168th Street and the M4 bus stop right outside. You’ll also be close to numerous dining options and parks, with Fort Tryon Park and The Cloisters just a 15-minute bus ride or a pleasant walk away.
You would be sharing the apartment with two professional women in their mid-20s. We keep the space clean and tidy and are looking for a roommate who will maintain the same standard and appreciates a quiet, respectful living environment.
If you’re interested, please get in touch soon to arrange an introductory video call and potential subsequent viewing and discuss further details. We look forward to meeting you!
Disclaimer: My other roommate might also be moving out due to unforeseen circumstances, but this is still to be confirmed. If you’re considering adding another tenant or might be interested in a slightly smaller room available for $1,094.87, please let me know. I’d be happy to provide additional photos and details.
I'm a professional in my late twenties working in the photo industry downtown. I value making home a peaceful and relaxing respite, and I'm not one for bringing the party home. I love spending my free time outdoors, whether it's going for walks or hiking, but I also cherish cozy nights in with a good movie or show. I enjoy cooking and you can often find me in the kitchen. I appreciate fostering friendships with my roommates, but respect our individual time to ourselves. Looking forward to sharing a home with someone who appreciates a calm and tidy environment.
