Hello, I have been in NYC since 2001 and this is by far the loveliest place I’ve lived in. It’s a single family home (2 floors), high ceilings, Hardwood floors throughout, a bathroom on both floors, private gated entrance with front garden area. The room I am renting is 10’ x 13.5” (plus a closet). You’re windows overlook the back of the house, so it is very peaceful and quiet and you get beautiful afternoon-sunset light.
The common area is basically the entire first floor. Massive kitchen/Dining area, all new stainless steel appliances (frig/washing machine) and new Washer/Dryer in upstairs bathroom. Large New comfy couch (bought last year),
I’ve put a lot of care into creating a clean, calm and beautiful environment.
I work and am away most weekends, so you would be able to enjoy plenty of personal time and space. The Room is currently lightly furnished with a queen size bed, desk and bookshelf, which you are welcome to use but I can also have the room empty if you prefer.
There is a Kitty, Tiger Lily who rules the palace. She is a British shorthair, hypoallergenic and very friendly and adorable.
There are stairs coming into the home (a double stoop entrance) and then one staircase connecting first and second floor…easy for movers.
The house is located between the Halsey and Wilson L train stops, both are an easy 5min walk, there is also a Bus stop on the corner (not sure what line). We also have a push code keypad and a sensor light installed at front entrance for convenience and safety.

This sublease will initially be for 6 months but I am open to extend indefinitely if everyone is happy! The rental price includes WiFi, water, electricity, gas and security alarm system.
