I am subletting my lovely two-floor apartment, with a private backyard, in Ridgewood from May 20 to August 20. I’m looking for a quiet and responsible tenant or couple to sublet this special spot. The apartment is fully furnished, artsy and spacious, with an amazing private backyard in a nice neighborhood.

This apartment is really nice with a unique & cool, artsy aesthetic: 1000 square feet split over two floors connected with a spiral staircase (there are also separate entrances to both floors), with ample lighting inside and a spacious, private backyard with a BBQ for entertaining or for just enjoying a morning cup of coffee. The neighbors are very friendly.

The top/main floor is the living room, kitchen and lounge area with an extra table I use as an office. The downstairs is the bedroom with a comfy queen bed, bookshelves full of cool art books, a free standing closet and washer and dryer. Both floors have a bathroom, with a shower + tub on the main floor. The apartment has a cool, unique style, decorated by original artwork made by friends.

I love this neighborhood. There’s great Mexican restaurants (my fave has earned a Michelin star five years in a row), another fave is this cool Japanese spot, there are many bakeries, pizza, Turkish food and more. My place is walking distance to coffee shops, cool bars, grocery stores, parks, yoga studios, vintage clothing stores, gyms AND close to both the L and M trains as well as Citi Bike access.

$3450/month (+ electric/gas), Includes WIFI. Fully furnished with everything you need including dishes, kitchen, etc. My neighbors in the building are really nice and the neighborhood is great. Preserving a good relationship with the people in the building is paramount to me; I’m looking for a tenant (/tenants) who is/are respectful, responsible— someone who enjoys a peaceful home, and will take great care of my apartment. This is a small building with quiet and respectful neighbors. Hosting BBQs in the backyard is okay ;)

I also have plants inside and out and would love for you to water them please!

I love this apartment; it’s quiet, spacious, modern, clean, with an outdoor space that is truly so unique and special to have in the city! After more than 10 years living in NYC in several apartments, this one is my favorite! I feel very cozy in this space and I adore the backyard -- especially in the warm seasons. I also love the location, in a quiet neighborhood, but close enough to Bushwick, when I want action. I'm also in close walking distance to a great yoga studio, gym, grocery stores, restaurants, bars and parks.
