Hello! I'm looking to sublet my cozy Park Slope studio apartment this summer.
The apartment is a furnished second-floor walk-up in a historic brownstone with lovely hardwood floors and shutters, lots of natural light, high ceilings, and far too many books.
Located at St John's Place (a quiet residential street in northern Park Slope) and Seventh Ave (a lively shopping street with great bars and restaurants), close to Prospect Heights. It's truly an unbeatable location: great subway connectivity, only a couple blocks away from the convenience of Flatbush Ave (the LIRR, Target, etc), less than a 10-minute walk to Prospect Park (and the Grand Army Plaza farmer's market), and under 20 minutes from Manhattan on the subway.
Rent is $2,200 per month, plus utilities. Would love a subletter who could water my plants once a week(ish)!
If you'd like to schedule a visit, please reach out with your age, pronouns, what you do for work, why you're looking for a sublet, and your availability this Wednesday 4/22, Friday 4/24, and Sat 4/25.
I've been living in this apartment for four years now and am traveling for the summer. I'm in my late twenties, work in publishing, and spend my free time reading (hence the clutter...) or in the park. I've found great subletters through Listings Project in the past!
Please note that this is a pet-free, smoke-free, quiet residential building. Not interested in one-month sublets. Looking to rent to one person.
$750 security deposit is required to reserve the apartment and will not be refundable if sublease is cancelled. Barring any issues, deposit will be returned the week of September 7th.
