Hello Brooklyn! I am looking for a rental studio or 1 bedroom in Cobble Hill/Carrol Gardens/Brooklyn Heights/Columbia Waterfront area for a 1 to 2 year lease. I have been living in Cobble Hill for approx. 8 years and really feel like this is my neighborhood. I would love to stay somewhere close by. However, given recent rent hikes I am looking for something a bit more affordable. Would love to stay around $2000/month.

I take pride in where I live and therefore really like to keep it tidy (especially living in a small studio!) I currently live in a walk-up building of 8 units. I prefer a smaller building where we can look out for one another and keep our space safe and clean.

Originally from California but made my way to the east coast via North Carolina and eventually NYC for my master's program. I have been in New York for 9 years and have always lived in Cobble Hill-I consider it home! I work in healthcare as a speech therapist M-F from 9am-6pm. Otherwise, I enjoy spending time at home cooking, listening to music and catching up with friends and family. When the weather is nice, you can usually find me walking around the neighborhood or at the Brooklyn Bridge Piers. I also like shopping around the neighborhood and always try to support local stores and restaurants, even as the area is ever changing!
Currently trying to improve on my Italian language skills and thinking of taking up either piano or sewing to get through the rest of the winter slumps.
