Located in Dutchess County, between Millbrook and Dover Plains, the house is 10 minutes from the MetroNorth Harlem line and 1.5 hours from upper Manhattan; also 35 minutes to Rhinebeck or Poughkeepsie and an hour to Hudson or the Berkshires.

In preparation for a May 1st move-in date, the house is currently being renovated with new floors, a new kitchen, and fresh paint throughout.

Well-behaved pets are welcome.

Currently set up as an vacation rental, with elegant, minimalist furnishings, we are open to summer renters or longer-term renters who may want our furniture removed -- we are negotiable -- please reach out with any questions.

We're a family of four from Brooklyn who have treasured this country home for 13 years. As we have been spending less time there in recent years, we have enjoyed sharing it with vacation rental guests, and we are now looking for longer term renters who will enjoy this magical place and appreciate the serene surroundings and peaceful nature it offers, so close to the city and yet so removed.
