I’m looking for the right person to share my bright, peaceful 2-bedroom home in Greenpoint from May 1 through August 31 (with potential to extend if it’s a great fit).

The apartment is on a quiet, tree-lined street just around the corner from McGolrick Park. It’s a second-floor walk-up with beautiful natural light, a calm energy and a strong sense of home.

YOUR BEDROOM

The available bedroom is an L-shaped space, roughly 12.5ft x 7ft at its widest, but bright and cozy, with a large window overlooking the trees and an exceptionally large 9’ floor-to-ceiling closet with rails, shelving + top storage (seriously a dream).

The room can come furnished with:

- a lightly used Allswell Full mattress with bed frame ($200 if you’d like to keep it).
- an Ikea VITTSJÖ laptop table, shelving + a few other decorative pieces

NOTE: The room fits a full bed comfortably (but not a queen). If you prefer to bring your own setup instead of keep what's there, we can absolutely discuss.

THE APARTMENT

This apartment is my place of serenity. I’ve lived here for 13 years and care deeply about maintaining it as a peaceful, welcoming home.

- Living room is bright and airy, furnished with a West Elm couch, small dining table + TV with Roku streaming apps (no cable).

- Kitchen is well equipped, as I work from home running my business as a food photographer and content creator.

Apartment culture is best described as cheerful, zen & grounded. I'm social but in my "relaxing at home with a book" era, so no partying or frequent hosting. I enjoy catching up with my roommate in shared spaces, but also really value quiet, solo time to recharge, so there’s a natural balance. Many past roommates have remained close friends over the years. ❤️

WHO THIS IS A GOOD FIT FOR

Someone who:
- is kind, communicative and self-aware
- values a peaceful, tidy home environment
- is interested in personal growth, wellness & living thoughtfully

Because I work from home and occasionally shoot or create content here, I’m ideally looking for someone who works and spends time outside the apartment during the day. Bonus if you travel frequently (for work or leisure), but not a must. I always communicate in advance if I need space for a shoot.

Not a fit for smoking or pets, but please note for those who are allergic, this is not a pet-free home. My mom and her two senior puppies sometimes come over to visit & occasionally have stayed a few nights while she was out of town. So bonus if you like doggos. They're very sweet visitors.

I am not a neat freak or obsessed about cleanliness, but I appreciate a tidy space & like to keep the shared spaces clutter-free, especially the kitchen since I use it for work.

LOCATION + DETAILS

- 5 min walk to Nassau Ave (G train)
- ~15 min to Bedford Ave or Graham Ave (L train)
- 2 min to MET grocery store + multiple nearby options
- 1–2 min to laundromats + great drop-off service nearby
- Less than 2 min to McGolrick Park (farmer’s market, green space)
- ~15 min walk to McCarren Park

The location really gives you the best of both Greenpoint and Williamsburg!

About This Lister

Born and raised New Yorker, 38. Pronouns she/her.

I'm kind, bubbly, hard working & considerate. I'm looking for someone who is equally considerate, friendly and flexible - and most importantly, who is on the same page to make our home a calm, relaxing environment with open channels of communication always and respect of boundaries.

I'm a big foodie & love working for myself. Taurus sun if you're into that. Nature & music lover. I value friendship, connection & community. I love to travel and recently learned to surf!

Partying & late nights aren't relevant for me anymore. I prefer to stay in, cook or order takeout & relax. I love neighborhood walks, reading and going to the park. I typically go out to see friends & don't have groups / parties in the apartment. Occasionally my mom or a single friend will come over, but vibe overall vibe is very low-key.

In terms of apartment cleaning, I'm not a clean freak by any means, but have had no problem keeping the space base line maintained by sharing day-to-day and deep cleaning duties as needed.
