Fully furnished 1-bedroom in the Prospect Park/Prospect Lefferts Gardens neighborhood. Steps from the subway and park, the apartment is ideal for someone new to the city to land, or for those here on an artist residency or work contract.
Rental period: July 1 thru September 30 or October 15.
Though I may be flexible to extend beyond that or to start a week later in July. Please clarify your ideal dates in your inquiry.
The bedroom is very large—approximately 15x15.
Fabulous open living/kitchen situation with a loft-like feel. 13+ feet of countertop in the kitchen.
This apartment is best suited for someone who appreciates a clean and well-kept living environment and is committed to maintaining the space responsibly. Clear communication and a solid rental history are essential. No smoking or pets.
It’s right on the Q line—which is great for getting into Manhattan in a flash, but also makes the train part of the gentle “soundscape.” No guests have had issue with it, though please consider this if you are extremely noise sensitive. The apartment is on the top (6th) floor so well above the tracks. Elevator building, no laundry onsite, but laundromat across the street.
I’m a freelance movement educator, somatic therapist, and applied theatre facilitator. I feel a deep connection to, and very at home in many cities.
Transparency, follow through, tidiness, and care (certified neat freak, here!) are utmost to me when I rent my space. Bonus points if you are loving to my plants. I'm attached to them. ;) Thanks!
$2850 (first month's rent) + $1400 security to secure apartment.
All utilities are included in the monthly price unless electricity goes over $175/month. Documentation would be provided and any overages would come out of security deposit.
