We'll have a room available to sublet on June 27-August 31 in our 3-bedroom share (might have 1-2 day flexibility with move-in and move-out dates if needed).

The apartment is on the 2nd floor of an owner-occupied pre-war 2-unit home in Flatbush on New York Ave. It's a 6-minute walk to 2/5 Newkirk stop and a 10-minute walk to Brooklyn College/Target/ALDI/Flatbush Junction. Grocery stores are nearby on Nostrand Ave.

The apartment has original hardwood floors and high ceilings. Common spaces include a kitchen/appliances (microwave/dishwasher), a living room/dining area (with AC) that gets lovely natural afternoon light, a bathroom, and a small shared bedroom for occasional guests.

The room has east-facing bay windows with great natural night. Comes with a full-sized bed/dresser/desk/AC.

Rent includes all utilities, Fios Gigabit WiFi, and washer/dryer usage (no tedious bill splitting or laundromat runs).

We currently have someone coming in to clean the common spaces every other week, which is $25 each time.

We are looking for a mature, down-to-earth summer roommate. We foster an environment of mutual respect, open communication, cleanliness, and peaceful coexistence. We value considerate individuals who appreciate personal space and maintain a healthy noise level. We cherish a serene living atmosphere, free from excessive drinking or drug use. Please note that we're unable to accommodate pets or smoking, and we kindly request no couples.

The current roommates are a Mexican architect/runner (subletting the room) (she/her); a Polish artist/art student/art teacher (she/her), and a Mexican artist/art teacher (she/her).
