Hi! My current roommate is leaving due to family health reasons. Would love to find someone chill and friendly to take over her lease (not sublease) and resign in November. I intend to resign and ideally looking for someone long-term who would like to stay in the apartment for at least a full year.

Ideal candidate:
- good communication: totally ok with just being roommates, but friendliness and healthy ways of communicating are essential for a shared space.
- respectful: this is home, and i’d like for us both to feel at ease!
- tidy and willing to clean: i try to keep things relatively organized and do chores on my weekend.
- lgbtq+ friendly!

- your bedroom faces the street and has amazing morning light. My roommate says that on the weekends and in the summer it can get kind of rowdy. Nothing too terrible. There will be occasional honking & sirens but that’s city life.

I’m originally from Lithuania but have moved a lot before settling down in New York almost 3 years ago.
