We’re subletting our large one-bedroom apartment on Sterling Place in Prospect Heights, Brooklyn, for two months this summer, from June 24 - August 24. We're in a 20-unit pre-war elevator building with a live-in super (one step to the door).
Our apartment has 1 bedroom, an eat-in kitchen, a main living room, and a small nook with an elliptical machine. Full furnishings include a queen sized bed, 2 desks, closets, tons of books, AC units in the living room and bedroom, high-speed wireless internet, and plants for company. Kitchen has a gas stove and oven, fridge, microwave, Vitamix, and anything a gourmand could need. The vibes are very good :-).
Our apartment is a five minute walk to Prospect Park and one block each from the 2/3 and B/Q subway lines; walkable to BAM, Barclays Center, Brooklyn Museum, Botanical Gardens and many other cultural venues! There are 3 grocery stores within a few blocks radius of the apartment and Vanderbilt Avenue has abundant restaurants, bakeries, and bars that celebrate open streets in the summer.
Additional photos & video tour available on request.
Warmest wishes,
Ariel&E
We are Ariel (no pronouns) and E (she/they), sweeties and nonprofit professionals who have lived in our wonderful rent-stabilized apartment for ten years. Our building is lovely and quiet, in an amazing location. We're taking a sabbatical this summer! We consider our apartment our "tiny palace" and treat it with love and appreciation. Our live-in super is on hand to help with any immediate needs, but they seldom arise. We are glad to assist while we're away, and will leave a guide for getting to know our space (and plants!).
If you're nearby, we're glad to show you the apartment in person, or we can have a virtual tour.
The rent of $3000 per month includes all utilities. We will ask for a security deposit to be returned upon completion of the sublet, assuming nothing is damaged.
Small dogs are allowed in our building -- there's a cutie across the hall! We'd be glad to accommodate.
