This rare gem of an apartment is located on a prime block of Vanderbilt Avenue and occupies the entire top floor of a quiet, 3-story townhouse. On the lower level of the building, there is a zero-waste grocery store, providing a sustainable shopping option.

Originally designed in the 1900s as two separate units with a shared bathroom and kitchen, the entire top floor was combined into a spacious, sun-drenched apartment with two interconnecting doors.

The space is filled with sunlight all day; you can see sunrise (and moonrise!) from one side through two large windows; then watch the sun set from the other side of the apartment again through two more large windows overlooking Vanderbilt Avenue and the skyline.

One of the bedrooms in the apartment is situated at the front, overlooking Vanderbilt Avenue. It features a queen-size bed. On the other side of the apartment, another bedroom offers a serene view of the very well-maintained backyard. From this bedroom, you can also enjoy a lovely vista of the eastern sky. It is furnished with a brand-new queen-size sleeper sofa.

The living room is in front of the apartment and faces Vanderbilt Avenue with a beautiful view of the thoroughfare and the sky. Adjoining this room is a spacious dining area that can easily accommodate 8 people for a sit-down dinner.

Between the dining room and the second bedroom, there is a section that I currently use as my music studio and office space, and it makes a perfect WFH setup.

The living room of the apartment boasts a cozy couch that can be easily transformed into a queen-size sofa bed, providing ample sleeping space for additional guests. The study section also has an upholstered accent chair that can be converted into a bed, accommodating one person comfortably.

There are three large walk-in closets in the apartment. A portable hanger is also available.

The apartment was fully renovated 3 years ago with a spacious kitchen with brand new appliances, and a brand new bathroom with a walk-in shower.

There are just two apartments in the building. The neighbors downstairs (who are also the landlords) are very quiet and kind. We have a washer and dryer in the basement, shared only between them and me.

The unit has two ACs: one window unit and one portable.

The neighborhood (Prospect Heights) is vibrant. Less than a 10-minute walk to Prospect Park, Atlantic Avenue/Barclays Center, and 15 15-minute walk to Downtown Brooklyn. Steps to restaurants, bars, and shops on Vanderbilt Ave. Minutes from A, B, C, D, N, R, Q, 2, 3, 4, 5 trains. Enjoy a 10-minute walk to the historic Grand Army Plaza Farmer’s Market on Saturdays, and 15 minutes to the Brooklyn Museum.

During the summer months, Vanderbilt Avenue prohibits vehicular access on Saturdays, creating a pedestrian-friendly environment. This closure paves the way for a vibrant atmosphere with various concerts and events taking place right at your doorstep https://vanderbiltavenue.org/.

An ideal spot from which to explore all Brooklyn has to offer, and perfect for families!

All utilities (high-speed internet, a TV-Netflix, HBOMax, Amazon Prime Video, heat, electricity, water, gas) included.
