My sun-drenched 1-bedroom apartment in Prospect Heights is available for a short-term sublet from Feb 1-10.

Located just a few blocks from Prospect Park, the Brooklyn Museum, and the Brooklyn Botanical Garden, the apartment is perfectly situated to enjoy the best of Brooklyn with quick and easy access to Manhattan. There are six subway lines nearby, many great restaurants and bars in the area, as well as an outstanding bakery, cafe, and several grocery stores within blocks.

It's a 1-bedroom apartment with a separate living room/study (pictured in the first two photos). The rooms and bathroom are organized around a central dining room and well-equipped kitchen area. There's superfast Verizon Fios internet.

The apartment is furnished with vintage and antique pieces I've collected on my travels, as well as handmade ceramics and art made by friends. Due to the nature of the space, it's not suited to pets or kids.

There are lush plants in every room. I'm looking for someone willing to water the plants once during the sublet and will prioritize this in my search.

The apartment is located on the 6th floor of an elevator building, a short walk from the 2/3/4/5 and A/C/E trains and right next to the Park Place S shuttle stop. The location is widely considered one of the most desirable and well-connected in Brooklyn.

Note: The apartment building located next to an above-ground shuttle train (the S train) that makes some rumbling noise as it passes by. The apartment is on the 6th floor and the subway is adjacent to 1st floor. I work from home and it's been fine. Past subletters haven't had an issue with the sound, but if you're very noise-sensitive, this might not be a good fit.
