I’ve lived in this beloved Greenwich Village apartment for years and am only leaving to move in with my partner. It’s a spacious, true 1BR on the 4th floor of a quiet, pet-friendly co-op that feels like "Old New York" in the best way. The unit features massive east-facing windows that flood the space with morning light, classic exposed brick, and a walk-in closet that is surprisingly huge for the neighborhood. There is plenty of room for a queen bed, nightstands, and a full desk for WFH days.
The location is unbeatable: you’re within an 8-minute walk of nearly every subway (A/C/E, B/D/F/M, 1, 6, N/R) and right around the corner from Joe’s Pizza, L'Industrie, and Minetta Tavern. While it’s a walk-up with no doorman, it’s situated right above Carbone; their security is out front every night, providing a consistent, helpful presence on the block. Plus, there is a wash-and-fold laundry spot literally one door down, which makes chores a breeze.
I have called this apartment and this neighborhood home for the past few years, and I’ve absolutely loved every minute of it. I’m a tech professional working at Google, and while I’m sad to leave such a special unit, I’m making the exciting move to live with my partner
