Located at the top of charming Park Slope between Prospect Park and Barclays Center, you'll feel like you're at the center of it all. Less than 5 min walk to the restaurants, shops, and cafes on Vanderbilt Ave, 5th Ave, and 7th Ave, and not much further to Fort Greene, Gowanus, and Crown Heights. Numerous grocery stores (including Whole Foods), gyms/studios, and all other necessities nearby.

A 3 min walk to either the 7th Ave B/Q and the Bergen 2/3 express trains means you're just 15 mins from downtown Manhattan. It's 1 stop to Atlantic Avenue where you can easily connect to many other trains too. We also have a Citi Bike station at our doorstep, and are on the easiest block to street park on in Brooklyn (in case you're bringing a car).

The apartment itself is the entire top (third) floor of a two-unit building and gets incredible natural light from multiple exposures throughout the day. Being on the corner, it stays bright from morning through evening and feels open and airy above the street.

Open concept living area with oversized Design Within Reach couch, smart TV with all streaming services, and Sonos sound system. Dining area has a modern dining table that comfortably seats four.

The kitchen is fully equipped with stainless steel appliances, dishwasher, large island for prep, and everything else you need to comfortably cook. We also have a great coffee & tea setup (drip, DeLonghi espresso maker, and Fellow kettle) and wine fridge.

Bedroom 1 has a Tempur-Pedic queen bed, dresser, and blackout shades.

Bedroom 2 has two walls of windows and is set up as a work-from-home office / guest bedroom with a full-size memory foam mattress; adjustable standing desk with monitor, Herman Miller office chair, and printer; and yoga mat and free weights.

The windowed bathroom has marble tile and a full tub/shower.

Washer and dryer are located in the building on our landing (shared only with our downstairs neighbors).

We also have several well-loved indoor plants that require periodic watering. We’re looking for someone happy to help care for them while we’re away.

You will be responsible for utilities (just electric) based on actual usage. We also use a trusted housekeeper who visits every 3-4 weeks ($185 + tip per visit, paid directly to her). We ask that her visits continue during your stay.

We’re two professionals working in music and science who are taking some time off work to travel and would love to share our Brooklyn home with someone who will enjoy it as much as we do. We’re easygoing, communicative, and just looking for someone responsible who’s excited to live in the space and help care for the plants while we’re away.
