I am subletting one bedroom in my 2 bedroom/1 bath loft from June 1st - August 31st with the possibility to extend.
The apartment is located steps from Domino Park and the South Williamsburg waterfront on a hidden gem, of a block long street. There is a supermarket on the corner and easy access to the multitude of restaurants, bars, and entertainment options South Williamsburg has to offer.
The spacious, 1200 square foot loft boasts 12 windows and is designed to highlight and compliment the building's industrial history and character.
You would be sharing the apartment with my close friend and roommate Kristine, an early 30's FIT grad from LA. She has been working as a Lead Production Designer/Creative Director in the music industry for the last 10 years. She recently started a role as a floral designer for the event and production house, Birch.
The apartment is walking distance to two subway stations: (Marcy J-M-Z & Bedford L), both 1 stop from Manhattan and the South Williamsburg Ferry.
The space has a classic loft layout with an open kitchen, large living room, high ceilings and dining area/table that accommodates up to 10 people.
The apartment is located on the 2nd floor and the building has a freight elevator. Laundry facilities are conveniently located in the building's basement. The building has a common rooftop with beautiful views of the East River and Manhattan skyline.
Please respond with some details about yourself and your current circumstances that lead you to look for a sublet.
Please include your cell phone/WhatsApp number in your email response. I (Daniel) will pass along your messages/info to Kristine, who will get back to you to coordinate a time for a quick phone call. She can provide some more details about the place, including a video walk-through, answer any questions you have and coordinate a time for you to come check out the place.
The bed in the available bedroom is now on a frame, as opposed to the floor, as pictured and there are two bedside tables and a desk which you'll see in the video walk through.
Take care,
Daniel & Kristine
I am a Musician and Event Producer originally from Chicago who travels frequently for work. I have been living in NY fo 10 years and have done 30+ day sublets more than 25 times in these 10 years.
I would ask for a one month Security Deposit upon signing the sublease to hold/guarantee the apartment and the first month's rent on the move in date. Utilities, being electricity and internet/WiFi will be split evenly between you and Kristine and deducted from the Security Deposit. They average around $125 for each tenant in the summer.
Pets are not allowed unfortunately.
