I'll be away for stretches of this summer and looking to sublet my one-bedroom on the corner of East End Avenue and 79th Street. The apartment is fully furnished and available anytime between June 4 and September 1st, flexible on exact dates, open to the full window or shorter stays of a month or more.

It's a true one-bedroom that sleeps up to four: a queen in the bedroom, a double sleeper sofa in the living room, and an air mattress if needed. AC, fast wifi, washer/dryer in the unit.
The block is one of the quieter ones in the city, right on the river, set back from Midtown, with Carl Schurz Park and the East River Esplanade at the doorstep.

For anyone visiting for the World Soccer Championship 2026, the location works unusually well. The FDR Drive on-ramp is at the end of the block, so MetLife Stadium is 25–35 minutes by car in normal traffic (60–90 on match days). By subway, the 6 at 77th and the Q at 72nd or 86th are a short walk; both connect to Penn Station, where NJ Transit runs direct event service to Meadowlands. Door to stadium is 75-90 minutes via public transit.
