The location is unbeatable and we'll miss it!
- 5 mins walk to 2/3 train at Eastern Parkway, Brooklyn Museum, Brooklyn Botanic Garden, Mount Prospect Park
- 15 mins walk from Prospect Park and Brooklyn Central Library
- Tons of wonderful restaurants and cafes around the corner on Washington Ave (faves: Le Pistol, Ogliastro, Tom's, Cafe Mado, Lincoln Station, Stocked Cafe, The Barlow, Banh Mi Place, Radio Bakery, and taco truck on our corner)
- 10 mins walk from Franklin Ave's restaurants/bars/cafes (faves: Covenhoven, Chavela's, Briscola, Cent'Anni, Don Udon, Franklin Park)
- Right next to Stroud Playground, great for outdoor workouts
- Grocery store 2 blocks away plus plentiful bodega options
- 12 mins walk from Flatbush Ave (including B/Q Trains), and 10 mins from Vanderbilt Ave

A true gift of the neighborhood is the abundant green space! Dog owners are spoiled for choice with off leash-friendly parks at Mount Prospect Park, the hill behind the museum, and of course the off leash hours at Prospect Park.

We're a couple using one bedroom as a den with large couch, TV, and desk, and the common room as an oversized kitchen and dining area, but 2 roommates could (and have) lived here with separate bedrooms.

We love this area – it's charming, convenient, peaceful, and lush – we've just outgrown the space and found a new home last minute.

Additional notes:
- If of interest, we're able to leave much of our furniture (e.g. mounted TV, kitchen island, bar stools, sectional couch, rugs, lamps, hallway storage rack) – prices negotiable
- If you're looking for a January-February short-term rental (furnished or unfurnished), that could be an option as well, please get in touch.
