I'm looking to fill a bedroom in our bright, spacious apartment on Eastern Parkway. The bedroom has a fire escape. All the four bedrooms in the apartment are very spread out, and yours would not share a wall with any of the other roommates. Our kitchen is sizable and well-equipped, with ample counter space.

We tend to keep very clean, and clear up after ourselves immediately (no dishes in the sink!). The apartment is very quiet, and faces inner courtyards, so we rarely get street noise.

This is the most amazing location, with the Brooklyn Museum, 2/3 subway, and Brooklyn Botanic Garden right in front of us. In addition to our unbeatable location, we have in-building laundry, elevator, and an attentive super. There are bodegas right around the corner and the nearest Ideal supermarket is a 5 minute walk away, with access to a Union Market and Foodtown about 10 minutes walk away.

Looking for a subletter through the end of January 2027, with a potential to sign the lease and stay longer after that.

About This Lister

You’d have three roommates in their early to mid thirties. We all work from home to varying degrees and tend to keep to ourselves in our rooms, but will chat in the common areas occasionally.

Two of us (myself and Elizabeth) cook with some frequency, while Nolan uses the kitchen a little less. We have a rotating system to clean the bathroom, and are all motivated to clean the apartment's common areas without being asked/told to.

We're sad to say goodbye to Nate, who's lived in the apartment since 2021, and whose room you'd be taking. But we hope you'll love the apartment just as much, and find yourself at home here.

We're looking for someone who can respect shared spaces, is quiet, clears up after themselves, and is proactive about cleaning and communicating. Looking for someone who can take the room starting June 1st, and for the entire duration of the sublet.
