Looking for very responsible, clean & tidy sub-tenant(s) who will look after the apartment with great care, water the plants, keep the apartment clean, and be considerate to neighbors – I love my home and hope you will too!

My toddler and I are housesitting elsewhere for the summer, and our apartment is now available! Both bedrooms are set-up for adults (i.e. not a kid's bed), since we have been living overseas for my postgrad studies and breast cancer treatments (I'll be ok!). We will be moving back to the apartment on September 1, so I'm looking for summer subletters who will take good care of our home. (We already have a subletter until July 31).

Preference is to sublet to the same person(s) for the entire month of August, so there is a discount for the entire month. Shorter sublets will also considered.

1) For one or two-week sublets:
$1300/week plus $500 security deposit (includes utilities/WiFi/professional cleaning).

2) For the entire month:
$3400 total plus $500 security deposit (includes utilities/WiFi/professional cleaning).

- One bedroom has a Queen size bed, the other bedroom has a Full size bed and a big desk.

- Perfect for 2 people sharing or for 1 person (or couple) using the other bedroom as an office.
- Hardwood floors, AC in bedroom and living room, radiator heating, windows in every room, plants and artwork throughout.
- Has some original architectural details from 1917 such has arched doorways, built-in pantry in hallway, parquet floors.
- 24/7 Laundromat on the block
- No smoking, no parties, no pets.

- Our block is a tight-knit block, with residents living there for decades. There may be a block party during your stay. We are close to Ital Kitchen, with Chef Michael's garden out front and delicious dishes inside. We are also very close to Joe & Sal's pizzeria, a grocery store on the corner, Major R. Owens Health & Wellness Community Center, and a close walk to Chavela's, RAS, & more great restaurants on Franklin Ave.

Hello! I LOVE my apartment in Brooklyn and hope you will love living there too! I'm an artist, curator, designer, philosophy graduate student, recent breast cancer survivor, and single mom to a funny and sweet toddler.

We will be house-sitting for friends for the month of August, but have friends and neighbors nearby and we will be elsewhere in Brooklyn after August 19 for any help/questions!
