Hello! I have a room available for rent in my 2 bedroom apartment located in Bed-Stuy near the Gates/ Kosciuszko J.

My apartment is 2 bed, 1.5 bath complete with an in-unit washer/dryer. The room is big enough to fit a full/queen bed and a large desk. There are two large closets and plenty of afternoon light due to two large west facing windows (hope you like plants!) Our rooms are on opposite sides of the apartment and I have my own half bath so we are never stepping on each other's toes! There is a small galley style kitchen with a dishwasher and common living area with...common living area type things.

Rent/Bills/Access: The rent is $1575 - apt total is $3150 split evenly. (heat and water included) and we will be splitting bills, this can range from an extra $150 -$250 per mo. I do require a security deposit of $1200 (in case you go postal and punch a hole thru the drywall) and 30 days notice upon the decision to move out.

The apartment is located on the 4th floor of a 4 floor walkup (hope you like stairs!) - there are 7 other units in the building who are mostly quiet.

You: I am looking for a subletter who is a low-key (preferably female or femme identifying person) in their late 20s - 30s (although open to anyone if it's the right fit) Please no couples! Looking for someone who is mindful and conscientious, cleans up after themselves etc. I get along best with a roommate that has their own thing going on and we connect at the end of a day/week whatever to gossip about our work/social lives/ all the insane shit that is going on in the world. I have been in this apartment since 2019 and its been a great home! It quiet and cozy and I am looking to maintain that ~vibe~.
