Bright and sunny room available in three bedroom apartment, shared with only one roommate. Huge common area includes living room and kitchen with dishwasher and one shared bathroom. (Additional tiny bedroom is used by me as an office/ studio space, open to occasionally sharing!). Apartment is on the top floor with only two units total, and there is a restaurant on the ground floor. Washer/dryer shared by the two units is located in the entry to the building. Nearby bed stuy favorites like Saraghina, Daphne’s, Rita und Maria, etc.

The apartment, except for the available bedroom, is fully furnished with no space for extra furniture or decor! The kitchen is also pretty stocked with utensils / appliances with some space for a few things / storage for duplicates.

I’m looking for someone early-mid 30s, clean, quiet, respectful, pet free, non partier with an active lifestyle outside of the apartment. The ideal person has lived in Brooklyn for a while and is mature and willing to help with taking the trash out, clearing the dishwasher, wiping down the counters, buying draino, paper towels etc. as needed, and understands that things happen in old apartments and we’ll work to figure out any issues together. I really try to not have significant others in the space unless previously communicated or if the other person away. This is a shared space and everyone should feel comfortable going about their day/evening without worrying about others being around.

Rent is accepted through Venmo or Zelle. I venmo request for utilities on the 15th of every month and they usually do not run above $200 per person.

I am an early 30s creative / professional female (she/her) working for a homeware brand! I keep the space very neat and tidy, and go to an office 4 days of the week. If I'm home, I usually shower in the morning around 7:30 and leave by 9:15 to head to work and get home between 6:15-6:45. I don’t party except for the occasional dinner party, don’t smoke, have no pets, and spend a lot of time at my partner’s place. I look to this apartment to be a peaceful place to relax, cook, work on special projects, and enjoy nights in (and I wfh on some Fridays!).

I’m very respectful of other's time and space -- I very rarely have my partner over unless the other person is not home because I want my roommate to be comfortable and not feel like they ever have to be out of the way. I will occasionally have someone come clean the kitchen and bathroom and split the cost.

I’ve been in this space since 2019 and manage all communication with the landlord, plumber, and super. I’ve taken a lot of time to decorate and furnish the apartment and really need someone who can appreciate and respect that :-)
