We’re subletting our big, light-filled loft in East Williamsburg while we set up an artist residency abroad. The loft is about 1100 sq ft with huge windows in every room, hardwood floors, and plenty of space for both living and working. It is on the second floor of a walkup warehouse building of mostly creative commercial tenants with a few longterm residents.

The primary bedroom is massive with a king bed, tons of storage, and an attached half bath with washer/dryer. The bedroom and living room have dedicated work spaces and can be rearranged to suit your needs. We will be back for work in the city for work every few months but depending on your needs the second bedroom can be available —whether as a guest room, office, or studio.

The open kitchen has a big island, lots of counter space, dishwasher and is fully stocked—great for cooking or gathering. The main bathroom is full-sized with a shower. The loft comes fully furnished and ready to go. The apartment has access to a detached roof garden perfect for morning coffee.

The building has a creative community vibe with artist, photography, and dance studios, plus access to a massive (unfinished) roof with 360 views of the city. It’s an inspiring environment if you need a home that doubles as a workspace. Perfect for someone looking for a live/work loft that is centrally accessible to all of Brooklyn and Downtown Manhattan.

It is on an industrial block, with lots of parking, one block from the park, and minutes from plenty of bars, restaurants, artist studios and music venues.

About This Lister

We are a couple, I am an advisor/producer, supporting artists to grow their careers in ways that feel true to their vision. My background has been in architecture, humanitarian design, fine art, and cabaret performance. My partner is a mechanic and bartender. Together we’re building an artist residency in the Caribbean, and splitting our time between there and Brooklyn. We love being surrounded by artists, makers, and people building creative lives.

Pets Policy

Pets allowed on a case by case basis. preferably no cats due to potential conflict with our dog.
