I’m looking for someone to sublet and then take over the lease for my sunny and beautiful 1br apartment in Fort Greene on July 1.
This place is a gem: One block from Fort Greene Park, one block from the C and G trains, and ten minutes to Atlantic-Barclays. Steps from great coffee shops, restaurants and grocery stores.
On the fourth floor of a pre-war doorman building with an elevator. Laundry in the basement. The apartment itself is sunny and calm with modern furnishings, charming old windows and lots of natural light. It’s fairly cozy (525 sq feet) but has 2 walk-in closets and a linen closet. The kitchen has a gas stove and dishwasher. Bathroom has a nice tub. The landlords are great people.
I've been here for 6 years but am moving in with my partner. The new tenant would sublet for July and August, then sign a new lease for September 1.

All the usual rental requirements: 40x rent, etc. If you could reply with a bit about yourself/employment situation, etc. that would be helpful for me. Eventually will need the full rental application to pass along to my landlords.
Also, sadly no dogs.
