This is a well-designed, cozy studio apartment located directly on Eastern Parkway next to multiple subways, bus stops and right by a large gourmet grocery store. It is available for sublet starting 6/1 until October or for a lease takeover. Priority will be given to longer-term stays.
The apartment is a studio with a kitchen in the same room, and a bathroom. It is furnished with a bed, a large closet with multiple levels of storage, many drawers and cabinets, a desk, bookshelf and a variety of lighting. There is a new 6000 BTU window AC already installed, with remote-control. The kitchen includes a full fridge, full stovetop/oven and I can leave pots/utensils/basics behind for your use. The bathroom has new finishings and also a good amount of storage.
The main room has two large windows and one smaller window that let in a good amount of light in the mornings, and curtains are already installed. There is also a window in the bathroom.
It is located on a third floor of an elevator building. The building has in-building laundry and a small courtyard. It is very centrally located, being directly on Eastern Parkway and easy walking distance to many shops, cafes and restaurants. It is also walking distance of Prospect Park, the Brooklyn Museum, the Brooklyn Public Library and the Botanical Garden (I go to Prospect Park almost daily). It is also one block from multiple subway lines and a variety of buses stop right by the building.
I am looking for someone interested in a summer sublet, a longer-term sublease or a lease takeover as I am moving. The space is available starting 6/1. Most of my personal items will be cleared out so there will be even more free space but I will leave the large pieces of furniture (or can move it out if you'd like). Utilities come out to around $100 a month, with high-speed internet already installed.
I am the current tenant but in the middle of moving to another space. I am happy to show you the place in person and tell you about the neighborhood and help make the transition smooth in any other way.
If interested, please email details about yourself including age, job, income, and why you are looking to sublet. Prospective tenants will sign a sublease agreement and possibly have a credit check. A security deposit and first month's rent required upon move-in.
Please tell me a bit about yourself and why you are looking to sublet.
The building is a pet-friendly building but requires approval. It will be easier to approve a pet if you take over the current lease, which runs until 10/1/26.
