We’re two women in our 30s looking for another woman around our age—ideally in her late 20s to 30s. The apartment is a 5-minute walk from the Gates/Kosciuszko J stops and a 12-minute walk from the Knickerbocker M line. It is located on the second floor of a three-story walk-up. It’s an older building with character—no luxury amenities like a washer, dishwasher, or central air. Supermarket, laundromat, corner store, urgent care, 99-Cent stores, all within a block. Equidistant between Maria Hernandez Park and Herbert Von King Park. The room is on the backend of the apartment, facing the backyard, but gets plenty of sunlight, has one big window, has a built-in bookshelf, and a spacious closet with plenty of storage. The apartment is fully furnished, features one bathroom, a spacious kitchen with a gas stove, and lots of natural light in the living room. We have two entrances to the apartment- one near the bedroom hallway and another one through the living room at the front of the unit. Looking for a roommate who's clean, respectful, and willing to fit into the dynamic of two long-term roommates. Ideally, we're looking for someone who's looking for a "home base" and doesn't work from home. We don’t host much or have guests over frequently, so we like to keep the space quiet and low-key. Looking for someone who stays on top of their finances and can pay their bills on time. We take initiative when it comes to cleaning and would love someone willing to communicate and cooperate with apartment chores. The bedroom is next to another, and the walls are thin, so we’re looking for someone who’s respectful and mindful of noise during quiet hours. Storage outside of the bedroom is limited, as we've both lived here for a few years. No pets, no smoking, and no frequent visitors, please.
