The room will be available starting February 1st, a month-to-month sublease with a desired longterm stay.

Rent is $1097/month. Utilities (gas, electric, and wifi) additional $70/month. The apartment lease renews in August, at which time rent will increase slightly.

Bright, airy, eastern-facing apartment on the 4th floor of a secure building with an elevator.

The shared, furnished living spaces in the approx. 1400 square foot, 3-bedroom apartment include a shared full bath, kitchen, cozy living room / dining area and entrance corridor with a deep storage closet.

THE NEIGHBORHOOD:
The building is in Flatbush/Ditmas Park, a beautiful neighborhood with tree-lined streets. For subway transportation the B/Q train station is an 8 minute walk, and the 2/5 train is a 12 minute walk. We are also close to multiple bus routes.

Prospect Park is a 25-minute walk, or 10 minute bike ride away. In the other direction, Coney Island beach is 4.5 miles away and the Q runs directly there!

Steps away on both Cortelyou Road and Newkirk Plaza, you’ll find a wealth of:

- wonderful restaurants and bars (like Kumo sushi, Corthaiyu, Cafe Tibet, Catskill Bagel, Cafe Madeline, Lo Duca Pizza, loads of local Caribbean spots, Sycamore Bar, Bad Therapy, and more)

My name is Coleman (he/him) and I'm 29. I work in the literary arts and spend much of my time either reading, writing, or out with friends. If you see me in the common areas, I'm probably either cooking or watching a movie. A lot of my time is spent outside of the apartment, but I like to come home to a warm, peaceful environment. I work remotely on Thursdays and Fridays, so you're most likely to see me either then or on a weekday evening.

My name is Camille (she/her) and I'm 34. I've lived in NYC for the last 8 years and I work at the Dept of Parks and Rec. I am always riding my bike, you'll rarely catch me on the train. I am an avid library goer and Prospect Park lover. If you want to get into cycling, I can definitely help you out! Aside from sports, I am usually reading or writing or watching movies. I cook most weeknights, but I'm also often out at my partner's apartment. I have a 9-5 schedule, but when the cycling season begins in the warmer months, I'll often be out of the apartment by 6am and appreciate quiet nights. Looking forward to meeting you!
