Hi everyone! My roommate recently landed a job in the UK, so I’m looking for someone to take over her room in this beautiful 3BR/1BA apartment in Park Slope starting August 1.

The room is $1285/month plus utilities (heat + water covered by the landlord), fits a full bed and small desk, has a double closet, and gets amazing light through a big east-facing window. It’s unfurnished, and while it looks out over 4th Ave, we’re on the top floor and the windows are solid – so it's generally quiet, though maybe not ideal for someone super sensitive to street sounds.

The apartment is in an amazing location. It’s a 2 minute walk from the F, G, and R lines at 4th ave / 9th street, and a 15 minute walk from Prospect Park. The living room and kitchen are both huge, with tons of natural light.

You’d be sharing the apartment with two women in our midtwenties – both of us are mellow, friendly, and creative with interests in art and meditation. I work full-time in-person, and my roommate is starting grad school at Parsons in the fall, so we will both be out of the house most days. Generally speaking though, we're hoping to have a shared space that feels warm, open, and peaceful when we are home. :)
