The Space
A recently renovated one-bedroom with beautiful hardwood floors, hand-painted walls, and wonderful natural light. The spacious living and dining area overlooks leafy backyard gardens and centers on a vintage dining table that comfortably seats eight.
The bedroom features a new queen-sized Helix mattress, two large closets, and two large bureaus — plenty of room for your things. There's also a dedicated desk and work area with high-speed internet and a printer.
The kitchen is well stocked with great cookware, a gas range and oven, microwave, dishwasher, and recycling bins. There's even a hanging rack for your bike. An in-building laundry room is right next door in the building's adjacent wing.
Two efficient air conditioners keep the whole apartment cool in summer.
The Neighborhood
Clinton Hill is one of Brooklyn's most beautiful neighborhoods — tree-lined streets, stunning brownstones, and a thriving local scene. Fort Greene Park and an excellent array of restaurants, markets, and cafés are just around the corner. The local branch of the Brooklyn Public Library is one block away (380 Washington Avenue).
Getting Around
The apartment sits between the Clinton Hill C and G subway stops — each just a 5-minute walk. That puts you about 20 minutes from the Village. Citi Bikes are right across the street, and by bike you're only 10 minutes from Park Slope, Prospect Park, the Brooklyn Museum, and BAM.
I'm happy to answer any questions about the apartment, the building, or the neighborhood. I'm looking for someone responsible, quiet, and clean who will take good care of a home I love.
First month's rent, a $2,900 security deposit, and your signature on a subletting agreement. I'd appreciate you sending me your LinkedIn profile when you contact me about the apartment.
