Subletting my Sunset Park studio while I’m away at a residency. It’s been actively used and well cared for, and I’m hoping to pass it on to another artist.

I’m a mixed media artist working across painting, sculpture, and installation, using repurposed materials in botanically inspired abstract work. Since 2023, I have been occupying long term studio residencies and subletting this space.
The studio has recently been used by another artist with a similarly material-focused practice. The large walls are well suited for wall-based work, and the high ceilings have allowed for inventive, large-scale pieces to be realized in the space.
The studio community is friendly and genuinely supportive—despite my being away at long-term residencies over the past couple of years, people have continued to show up for shows, birthday parties and more.
The current subletter is shifting her studio needs due to personal life changes, though we remain close friends. Building management oversees several properties and has consistently been responsive and reliable whenever issues have come up.
1 months deposit at move-in
Available to show most mornings and occassional evenings or weekends.
The current subletter is very flexible for the move-out date, please reply with your preference.
Ideally sometime between mid-February to early April.
Potential to extend the sublease terms past July 31st.
