I have rented many times to folks on The Listings Project and I will add - very successfully. My dear tenants of 5 years have just given notice so my 1 Bedroom Unit is available beginning November 1st.

The cozy furnished apartment is an independent unit located on the second floor of my home. It has a separate entrance and a cute deck. The house sits on 9 stunning wooded acres in the trendy community of Accord NY. The land is very special; there are stretches of bedrock with mature moss systems and we have trails through the woods that take you to a beautiful stretch of The Stony Kill – a lovely 4 season stream that is very characteristic of the Hudson Valley with water tumbling over slabs of bedrock. It is truly a private oasis.

I am looking for a clean, friendly, easy going tenant with excellent communication skills who will appreciate the uniqueness of this land and who enjoys nature, quiet and beauty. While there are infrequent times where cooperation is needed, of particular interest is someone who likes to be helpful when upstate life offers us opportunities to help each other out
I share the home with my cute Aussie labradoodle.

The space is renting for $1500 (all utilities included).

Accord is only minutes away from The Mohonk Preserve and Minnewaska State Park where there are extensive trails, rock climbing, mountain biking, cross country skiing and snow shoeing. And right here in Accord, there are great restaurants, organic markets and several micro-breweries. It’s a great area.
