Our apartment is located just half a block from the beautiful McGolrick Park. It’s a typical railroad-style unit in a six-apartment building, one flight up (no elevator). The space is clean, well-furnished, cozy, and very quiet.
At the back of the apartment, you’ll find a spacious kitchen (west exposure) fully equipped for cooking delicious meals, as well as a bright bathroom with a bathtub and a window. Next to the kitchen, there’s a small office space.
In the center of the apartment is the bedroom, which opens into a bright living room filled with natural light throughout the day—sunny in the morning thanks to its bay windows. The bedroom has a twin bed with a firm mattress, and the room can be darkened completely for deep, restful sleep.
The living room faces a quiet street and features a very comfortable sofa. We also have a collection of vinyl records, along with a radio, CD, and tape player, which we care for deeply and invite you to enjoy respectfully.
Our apartment is filled with plants that we love and care for, and we’re hoping to find someone who will treat both the space and the plants with the same care.
The neighborhood is quiet and safe, with many great cafés, restaurants, and bars nearby. It’s about a 10-minute walk to the Nassau Ave G train station, and the B48 bus stops just around the corner. McGolrick Park is only a 2-minute walk away. McCarren park is a 10 minutes walk. A 20-minute walk from the waterfront at Transmitter Park, where you can enjoy stunning views of the Manhattan skyline
There’s also a very clean and convenient laundromat located just 2 minutes from the apartment.
We are artists, working in sound productions and mindfulness/performance art. We are leasing this apartment and searching for a responsible sublet to enjoy our peaceful home.
