This private apartment is one of 3 separate independent units within a multifamily house. The home is surrounded by 5 wooded acres which creates a peaceful retreat, while being 90 minutes from NYC and 10 - 15 minutes from restaurants and local attractions.

There is a large garden on the property and a chicken coop.

The space is fully furnished and has a primary bedroom with a full bed, as well as an office with a pull out couch (full mattress) that can also serve as a bedroom.

The full renovated kitchen features a farmhouse sink, quartz countertops and modern appliances. It leads to a back deck towards a large private yard.

This would be a great fit for someone who would enjoy some light chicken tending in exchange for fresh eggs all summer (not a requirement but we could make an arrangement).

Preference for someone who can stay the full period, but we can also consider monthly stays.

The location:
We are a short drive away from wineries, local farms and orchards. New Paltz, Beacon, Poughkeepsie and Newburgh are all 15 - 20 minutes away. There are supermarkets and pharmacies a few minutes drive, and is accessible by taxi to the Beacon Metro North station.
